There is a new leadership for medical laboratory scientists in Nigeria

Dr Bassey Enya Bassey is the new national president of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN).

He was elected after a keenly contested election concluded in the early hours of Sunday morning. Other elected members are as follows:

*NATIONAL WELFARE OFFICER*

Margaret Adah Oche

*NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY*

Dr Casmir Ifeanyi

*NATIONAL FINANCIAL SECRETARY*

Mukhtar Mainasara Yeldu

*NATIONAL TREASURER*

Dr Gloria Archibong

The election is the climax of the AMLSN’s national convention that was held in Kaduna. The newly elected leaders have already been sworn in.
